Ante-natal clinics are run by the Community Midwife with a doctor available when required. They take place on Wednesday mornings in Sandwich.
If you are planning a pregnancy, we recommend that Folic Acid tablets - 400 micrograms are taken, ideally before conception, until the twelfth week of pregnancy. These are available over the counter from the pharmacy.
Post-natal checks are done at 6 weeks after delivery.
The first Well Baby check is done at approximately 8 weeks in conjunction with the Practice Nurse.
